Shamala a freelance writer with more than five years of web content writing experience. She chose the Montessori system of education for her son after extensive research. He has been in Montessori schools for more than 3 years now, and the kind of progress she sees in him each month and each year is highly satisfactory. It is the most wholesome form of education that she knows of and she would recommend it to all parents.

Apart from writing hundreds of articles for various websites, she has also volunteered with several national and international non-profits such as Empowerment International, Amazing-Kids and Nurture. She has a Master’s degree in Biology and have also completed certification courses in Technical Writing, Grant Writing and Copyediting.

Jo-Anne comes from a background of nursing. She specialized in Hematology and Oncology, working in both the public and private sector. Since leaving nursing her main studies have been within education. She qualified as a Montessori preschool teacher in 2011 which has enriched the home schooling of her own three children. She enjoys learning Latin and Greek along with most classical literature. Freelance writing has given her the opportunity to share some of those passions with others.

Relaxation for Jo is being outdoors, hiking or cycling or just enjoying nature. Indoor relaxation is found in the sewing room buried under a mound of fabric and liberating whatever creative talents may wish to arise.
